Update from CSTS Madison:

That's all folks...

Thanks to everyone for all they're support this year.  Even in these hard times, we were able to raise over $500 for Equality Now so that they can spread the Browncoat way to all corners of the 'verse.

Please take a few minutes to fill out our survey and let us know how we can make next year even better.  Also be sure to sign up for our newsletter so that you will be the first to know of any local Browncoat activities as they become available.

Where we've been... Where we're goin'...

In 2006, with only a few weeks of planning, we were able to bring together 140 people to raise over $500 for Equality Now.  It was a story that mirrors Serenity itself in that this wasn't a big production, we didn't have a budget for promotion, didn't have media coverage to get the word out.  We just had the Browncoats.  And we showed the world that we could do the impossible. 

Then came 2007.  We at least had a few months to put our shindig together and had been given the challenge that since we had already done the impossible, this year we would beat it.  And beat it we did.  Madison alone had over 230 people in attendance and raised over $1800!  Globally we almost doubled the previous year's donation to Equality Now.

Which brings us to 2008...  Shirt & poster design is final.  T-shirts and posters are once again available through the website to be picked up at the event. 

As always, we are looking for potential sponsors for our 2008 or 2009 event.  If you or someone you know might be interested in helping to make next year's event even better please contact me.
